Position: QA Automation Engineer
Cleartax Careers Responsibilities:
- Plan and prioritize testing activities.
- Coordinate with the Design team to discuss verification protocols.
- Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application.
- Suggest automated software test procedures, including the use of the Karate framework and Gherkin language.
- Track software bugs and investigate their causes.
- Prepare automation scripts using the Karate framework.
- Troubleshoot automation software issues.
- Create test plans and cases, incorporating Gherkin syntax for readability and ease of use.
- Prepare detailed test reports.
- Prioritize and execute tests.
- Review technical specifications and design documents.
- Conduct regression testing when needed.
Monitor assurance metrics and process results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
- Advanced programming skills, including automation systems and databases.
- Familiarity with programming script languages, including Java.
- Experience with the Karate framework and Gherkin language is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
