Responsibilities
- Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed, executable test cases covering all scenarios.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java or Python to reduce regression testing time.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing across multiple application modules.
- Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as JIRA, ensuring all issues are clearly documented with steps to reproduce.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and clarify ambiguities during sprint planning.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test summary reports for each release cycle.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured to validate backend service integrations.
- Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and work with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions.
Required Skills & Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on knowledge of Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python for automation testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and working in sprint-based delivery models.
- Knowledge of SQL to write basic to intermediate queries for database validation.
- Understanding of REST APIs and experience with tools like Postman for API testing.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git is a strong plus.
- Good analytical and logical reasoning skills to identify edge cases and write comprehensive test scenarios.
- Minimum 60% aggregate in 10th, 12th, and graduation; no active backlogs at the time of application.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or allied engineering disciplines.
- 2024, 2025, or 2026 graduating batch freshers are eligible to apply.
- Minimum 60% marks (or 6.0 CGPA) consistently across 10th, 12th, and graduation.
- No active backlogs at the time of joining.
- Strong logical and communication skills to work in a collaborative global delivery team.
