Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts for KLA’s semiconductor inspection and metrology software using Playwright and Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to understand product requirements and define testable acceptance criteria.
Execute automated functional, regression, and performance test suites and analyse results to identify product defects.
Contribute to continuous integration pipelines by integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Write clear, detailed bug reports and work closely with developers to reproduce, triage, and verify fixes.
Develop and review test plans, test cases, and test summary reports for each product release.
Participate in code reviews for test scripts to ensure code quality, maintainability, and test coverage standards are met.
Stay updated on emerging testing tools, frameworks, and best practices within the semiconductor QA domain.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge

Proficiency in Python or C++ programming for writing and maintaining automation test scripts.
Hands-on experience or strong academic knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, or similar web UI automation frameworks.
Understanding of software testing methodologies: functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of REST APIs and ability to write automated API test cases.
Understanding of software quality processes in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.

Eligibility Criteria

B.E. / B.Tech or M.Tech in CS, Electronics, or related discipline from a recognised institution.
2024, 2025, or 2026 graduating batch freshers are eligible to apply.
Strong programming fundamentals in Python or C++ with hands-on project experience.
