What will you be doing?
- Contribute to automation of regression test packs with continuous focus on Quality, Performance and Resiliency.
- Ensure adherence to coding and quality standards and contribution to DevOps activities.
- Contribute to the creation of an efficient automation test pack and provide guidance to team members regarding best design and coding practices.
- Produce technical and design specification documents for new development projects, and contribute to detailed project planning activities for such initiatives.
- Foster continuous process improvement through the use of best practices and agile methodology.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong core java and OOPS design concepts and expertise in Selenium and JUnit & TestNG.
- Hands-on experience in SQL Server with good understanding of SQL and should be able to write complex SQL queries.
- Experience in BDD using Cucumber or JBehave will be added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in GIT and Maven/Gradle.
- Hands-on experience in functional and database testing.
- Should have previously worked in Agile environment with globally distributed teams.
Skills that will help you in the role :
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environment and knowledge of basic unix commands.
- Exposure to working in Python
- Exposure to DevOps and hands-on experience in TeamCity or any other CI tools.
- Familiar with Jira, Rally, Confluence etc.
- Exposure to Performance testing tools like Performance Center, Jmeter etc.
