What you’ll do
- You will report to Manager Software Development to contribute toward Corporate IT team
- You will work with an Agile team to ensure the quality of the product before it is deployed to production
- You will use your manual and test automation skills to test the front-end and back-end components of the software
- You will be an important part of team ensuring the quality of the product for the customer
- You will work in a and vivid environment where sharing ideas and thoughts is part of the culture
- Manually test front-end and back-end software components using multiple testing methods such as black box testing, white box testing, grey box testing, adhoc testing, regression testing, and smoke testing
- Build, executes, and maintain test automation suite using one or more test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Specflow
- Familiarity with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD), automated unit testing (AUT), and behaviour-driven development (BDD)
You should have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience building automated tests
- 1+ years testing APIs (Soap, REST) and web services in a back-end environment
- 1+ years professional experience using Selenium
- 1+ years professional experience automating in either C#, Java, or Python
- 2+ years of manual testing professional experience
- Experience with BDD using Gherkin
- Must have a working knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, industry standards in automation
- Knowledge of Specflow with C#
- Big plus if you’ve held a developer role in the past
- Experience with performance testing added advantage
