2 -6 years of hands-on testing experience either in the functional side or automation. Ability work in a team spread across multiple location is preferred.

Demonstrate the ability to follow QA process and standards
Must have a strong QA background in manual / functional/ Regression testing.
Expertise in scripting languages and logical implementations. Good experience in developing test cases referring requirements and stories and report test results.
Understanding of formal software test design techniques.
Good experience in Functional Testing, End-to-End, Regression and Smoke Testing tasks.
Create testing defects and track them to resolution in defect management tool.
Ability to quickly comprehend Project goals / Requirements, identify gaps /omissions and testing challenges / impediments
Ability to gather and understand requirements.
Must be good in aptitude, logical analysis, excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Should have good knowledge in SQL.
Good experience in Web services testing. Exposure to Web-Services testing with Postman / SOPAUI / JMeter.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage conflicts, increase productivity.
Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.

Skills

Degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent applicable work experience.
Team player and demonstrated an ability to work with multiple teams across locations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong sense of self-motivation, organization and attention to detail.
Establish collaborative relationships with other teams to ensure success of project test phases.
Anticipate problems or issues that may arise, forecast high-risk areas in software and drive resolution.
Great attitude towards work and has a proven track record of high performance in the academics.

Great Analytical skills and ability to think “out-of-the-box” for designing test cases.
Desirable to have worked on financial industry, specifically US retirement or Insurance products.
Ability to understand basic architecture of the application being tested.
