What you’ll do
- Day-to-day, you’ll be completing a programme of activities to build your skills and experience. As well as this, you’ll identify appropriate areas and modules for automation and understand their application.
- We’ll need you to deliver the low-test plan and its tracking and reporting of weekly and monthly reports.
You’ll also be:
- Completing all relevant learning modules and placement objectives as agreed with your placement line manager
- Managing your daily activities within risk appetite
- Displaying risk practices and behavior’s consistent with our risk culture

The skills you’ll need
- You’ll need to be educated to degree level in any discipline and have great numerical and logical capabilities. We’re also looking for someone with knowledge of coding languages, like Java and Python.
- As well as this, you’ll have a basic understanding of structured query languages and Oracle Database so that you can undertake basic database queries. Alongside this, you’ll need good verbal and written communication skills.
Additionally, you’ll need:
- Problem-solving capabilities, with a willingness to learn and quickly adapt to change
- An innovative and creative mind-set
- The ability to build great working relationships
- An understanding of industry-wide test management tools, like Jira and Zephyr
- Knowledge of automation tools, including Selenium and Cucumber
