Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Associate QA Engineer to join our Gaming team in Bengaluru. This role involves ensuring the quality of cutting-edge gaming applications while working in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Software Testing & QA Processes:

• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Preparation of test scenarios, test cases, and execution reports.

• Execution of various testing types: black box, ad-hoc, smoke, sanity, regression, integration, system testing.

• Setup and maintenance of test environments.

✅ Defect Management:

• Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects using tools like JIRA, qTest.

• Reproduce issues reported from the field and collaborate with developers for resolution.

✅ Game Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure software releases conform to defined game standards and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in exploratory game play sessions to identify test scenarios.

✅ Collaboration & Reporting:

• Provide regular updates to the Content QA Manager on testing progress.

• Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ 2-5 years of QA experience in software or gaming testing.
✔ Strong understanding of testing methodologies and defect tracking.
✔ Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, qTest.
✔ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
✔ Strong communication skills with an attitude for learning and a passion for gaming.
✔ ISTQB certification is a plus.
