QA Automation Intern

We provide virtual business process services to overseas clients. This position is part of the dedicated team providing mortgage back-office services and software product development to Toorak Capital Partners from the Mortgage Finance Industry.

Job Role: QA Automation Intern

A successful Lead Software Quality Engineer (Automation) will assist in reviewing and assessing requirements, working with the development team and product owner to ensure testable requirements, and ensuring the test environment is properly set up before the QC cycle.

Responsibilities

✔ Develop and maintain test cases
✔ Attend daily Scrum meetings
✔ Execute regression and functional tests
✔ Run manual tests and develop automated regression tests
✔ Record, track, and manage defects
✔ Create test harnesses for API testing

Qualifications & Experience

📌 Education: Fresher with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
📌 Skills:

• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage and evaluate complex problems in a fast-paced environment

• Deep knowledge of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and Quality Control (QC) processes

• Familiarity with all testing methodologies (system, functional, black-box, white-box)

• Experience with SDLC/STLC and Agile development methodology

• Knowledge of database concepts and client-server technology

• Experience using Playwright for REST-based web services testing

• Experience with Postman for API testing

• Familiarity with Sales, Financial, and Document Management software
