Candidates will be expected to perform functional testing for our Custody platform.  This will entail regression and new feature testing of the platform during both continuous delivery and biweekly releases.  The role requires execution and co-ordination of end to end automated testing with particular focus on data integrity.

Domain Skills Needed:

• Testing experience in Investment Banking and its core competencies.
• Ability to design and execute end to end test packs for Trade Life Cycle testing
• Scheduling and execution of regression cycles
• Experience of working in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Ability to understand and use efficient Defect management, regular view of test coverage to identify gaps and provide improvements

Personal Specification:

• 5+ years of relevant IT/quality assurance  work experience
• Test Lifecycle principles and quality assurance processes and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with testing of Java applications
• Must have excellent verbal and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level
• Ability to work under pressure to resolve issues affecting the production services.
• Must have excellent work ethic and be detail oriented and be able to work independently.

Technical Skills:

• SQL/Unix skills are a must
• Experience in execution of automated tests would be advantageous.
• Experience in creation/execution of Selenium tests would be beneficial
• Ability to generate SWIFT messages.
