Job Summary

The Web UI Tester role provides support to the Finance projects that serve all of Milliman. This position requires a deep understanding of QA methodologies and processes. The role will design test plans and write test cases.  This role will work with Finance to understand the test scenarios. The role will communicate project and testing status to the Finance IT and Finance groups.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Consult with Finance and Finance development team on testing options and strategies.
• Work with the team to identify upcoming testing needs, schedule, and effort required.
• Document bugs and communicate testing issues to the team.
• Identify and advocate QA testing standards and processes.
• Continuing to update processes using the latest technology.
• Analyze requirements and own the creation and execution of manual test cases based upon specifications and QA best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality assurance/application testing experience.
• Strong working knowledge and experience with JavaScript.
• Experience in system, regression, integration and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with version/source control, Azure DevOps bug tracking, and workflow applications/tools.
• Organized and analytical approach to problem solving; self-motivated, team player.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with test automation using selenium and/or coded UI.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
