Job Summary:

Altair seeks Software QA Engineers to validate desktop applications and enterprise web applications designed and developed using the latest cutting-edge technologies. The QA team works closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Development Operations to keep new code moving through the software development lifecycle efficiently, and with a keen eye for quality. A successful candidate will need the ability to navigate and adapt in a fast-paced environment, efficiently utilize his/hers experience to assist in development of robust platform.

We are looking for professionals with 3 to 4 years experience in QA Automation with both web and API technologies.

What You Will Do:

• Understand the business requirements and liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
• Create/Review detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases to meet the required test coverage.
• Design and development of Desktop UI, web UI, web service API test automation scripts & organize test suites.
• Run test suites, analyse test results, and track software testing metrics. Implement the right metrics, prepare, and present test reports.
• Report bugs by providing adequate steps needed to reproduce and identify a potential root cause (search the log files, use QA/Dev tools, etc)
• Flexible to do both manual and automation testing as required.
• Collaborate, communicate well across the QA team, and work with the cross-functional teams to solve issues, and move initiatives forward (Dev, DevOps, PM, Doc)
• Identify, document and track bugs.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• Strong understanding of QA software testing
• Sound knowledge in coding language (Python preferred).
• Knowledge of automation frameworks
