Job Description
- Azul continues to grow and we are actively interviewing candidates for our Cloud Systems Software Quality Engineer role. This role can be based in Bangalore or anywhere remotely in India.
- The Cloud Systems Software Quality Engineer will work closely with other quality engineers, development and support groups, design automated functional, compatibility, regression and stress testing of JVM and other pieces of system software, adopt third-party test suites, analyze failures and dive deeper to root causes, improve test coverage of the most sensitive product components, and build quality assurance model that ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Adoption of new platforms; environment setup; sustaining work on existing platforms for different products.
- Development and running of automated tests; adoption of the existing 3rd party test suites.
Improvement, development, and sustaining of CI, RE, and other infrastructure sub-systems for the product. - Providing input for technical documentation, reviewing release documents, close interaction with the Product Documentation department.

Required
- 2+ years experience in software quality engineering
- Handy with automation, especially scripting to test API, command line interfaces, system state
- Understanding commonly used types of testing
- Experience in testing Web applications
- Understanding web services with both API and UI with regard to architecture basics,
- networking, security, scalability, high load, cloud deployment.
- Strong verbal and written English.
Would be a plus
- Understanding cloud native, micro service, serverless architectures, big data specifics
- Strong competence in Web UI test automation
- Experience working with AWS native components
- Security, certification, load testing skills
