The QE will work with a multi-faceted team, enhancing system configurations, improve business processes, and ensure overall functional effectiveness of our proprietary software. As a liaison between our clients our US-based project and development teams, and our offshore QA teams, we are looking for individuals with the ability to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy for design solutions that meet client business needs.

You will have a variety of interactions—reviewing requirements and design documents, creating test documents/test cases, executing manual and automated tests, reviewing and resolving defects found during testing by Vitech or the client, and managing onsite and offshore QA support. This is a role with high internal executive and external client visibility, with tremendous growth potential, working on a multi-year multi-phase project.

CGI Careers – Responsibilities

Establish and maintain excellent relations with all clients as measured by delivery of a quality business solution.
Responsible for the analysis of the quality assurance needs and documenting the cases/scenarios across one or more client accounts.
Responsible for managing all testing activities; for weekly review and management of reported issues and modification requests, including the testing of and confirmation of reported issues.
Responsible for coordination, testing and deployment of client application releases.
Responsible for tactical aspects of testing as well as accountable for Planning and Strategy for testing deliverables.
Coordinate and execute on testing aspects of Project and Operations Support.
Work with Developers, Business Analysts, and offshore Quality Assurance staff to address/coordinate solution fixes, prepare test plans and execute test scripts.
Manage offshore QA teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate manual and automated tests are established and maintained through the project lifecycle.
Serve as on-site client support, and ongoing client-training.
On- site support for system cutover.
Assist both Project Manager and QA Director in managing scope and commitments on fixed price contracts.
Providing root cause analysis of test execution results to help facilitate continuous improvement

CGI Careers – Requirements

2-5 years of experience in QE Testing (Manual & Automation) and Test Data Management
Ability to interface with client, both users and management
Experience in Test case design, RTM and Gap analysis
A critical and analytical approach to problem solving
Attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop use cases and track test results through standard management tools
Solid understanding of relational databases
Technical know-how of JIRA software and exposure to Retirement Systems are a plus
Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
Experience with Automated Testing tools (Selenium)
BA/BS degree in a Computer Science/ Information Systems or a related field
