🧾 Job Description
As a Test Analyst at Cognizant, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality by designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans. You will work closely with development and business teams to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Manage defect lifecycle including logging, tracking, retesting, and closure
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams
- Ensure clear defect reproducibility and timely resolution
- Maintain testing quality standards across releases
🎯 Required Skills
- Knowledge of Software Testing concepts
- Understanding of Manual Testing & QA processes
- Experience in test case design & execution
- Basic knowledge of defect tracking tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- BE / BTech / BSc or equivalent degree
