This role is part of the GSi team within the Government & Public Sector. The team is responsible for performing various testing methodologies specific to financial applications. With a focus on innovation, we continuously seek ways to enhance and optimize deliverables.
The team collaborates with multiple stakeholders to execute testing of fixes and new capabilities, communicate findings, and manage incident tracking to resolution. You will work in a highly visible environment with technical experts and end-users, contributing to assessment, design, development, testing, enhancement, implementation, maintenance, documentation, and support of new or existing tools and applications.

Technology: Manual Testing
- Strong background and experience in manual testing concepts, methodologies, and SDLC models.
- Define and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for financial applications.
- Conduct system performance testing to ensure reliability, capacity, and scalability.
- Work with the testing team to develop performance test plans and cases.
- Perform Functional Testing with a variety of testing techniques.
- Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results, defects, and issues.
- Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
- Support UAT initiatives and product rollouts into production.
- Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance testing.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures.
- Test and analyze a wide range of systems and applications to ensure they meet standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business/functional requirements and develop test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Execute test scripts according to application documentation.
- Coordinate multiple testers and testing activities within projects.
- Retest after corrections are made to ensure resolution.
- Document, evaluate, and research test results for future reference.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
- Participate in test strategy meetings and foster a collaborative, innovative team environment.
- Work on different testing types: Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Database, etc.
Key Skills / Certifications
- Strong background in manual testing, SDLC models, and QA concepts.
- Experience in system performance testing.
- Knowledge of automation framework design, methodologies, processes, and standards.
- Proficiency in automation concepts, design, and maintenance of test scripts.
- Exposure to financial systems (e.g., Costpoint, SAP, etc.).
- Basic financial knowledge (project budgets, profitability, bill rates, etc.).
- Experience on TOSCA automation tool is a plus.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in MIS, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT discipline).
- Experience: 1–3 years in Manual Testing with strong QA knowledge.
- Proven hands-on experience in software testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in writing test scenarios and test cases.
- Sound knowledge of Defect Management Cycle and defect logging.
- Experience with test management tools like TFS and JIRA.
- Good documentation and communication skills; ability to work on multiple projects.
- Experience with TOSCA is a plus.
