As part of Dexcom’s software quality team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of software used in medical devices and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in software requirements and design reviews
- Create software verification plans, test protocols, and perform software risk analysis
- Validate software configuration, functionality, and user interface
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
- Execute software verification plans and test protocols
- Log, track, and manage defects using bug tracking systems
- Analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes
- Prepare detailed test reports and communicate test progress to management
- Ensure compliance with medical device regulations, cybersecurity, and validation procedures
- Update test protocols based on requirement changes and perform regression testing
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams
What Makes You Successful
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android)
- Experience developing automation test scripts using Java and Python
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies including system, regression, black-box, white-box, performance, and stress testing
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools such as:
- Appium, Appium Inspector, Appium GUI Server
- Android Studio, ADB
- Xcode
- Experience troubleshooting mobile applications and collecting logs and defect evidence
- Familiarity with Linux/Mac terminal commands
- Experience with Git, Git commands, and JFrog Artifactory
- Knowledge of defect lifecycle management and tools such as JIRA
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Freshers with strong testing fundamentals are encouraged to apply
