Job Summary:

The QA Engineer at GE Vernova will play a key role in ensuring customer success and product quality in the post-sales customer lifecycle through testing and quality assurance. The role involves front-end & back-end testing for Web, SaaS, and mobile platform-based products.

Responsibilities:

✔ Automation & Testing: Own mid-sized quality engineering tasks, automation activities, and mentor team members.
✔ Agile & SDLC: Apply principles of Agile, CI/CD, software security, scalability, and testing techniques.
✔ Test Integration: Integrate testing into the continuous integration process.
✔ Bug Diagnosis: Work with team members to identify and resolve bugs.
✔ QA Expertise: Provide expertise in test planning, automation, and evolving QA processes.
✔ Test Execution: Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression testing.

Qualifications:

✔ Experience: 0 to 5 years in Software Automation Testing (Web or SaaS-based products).
✔ Technical Proficiency:

Programming: JavaScript/TypeScript, Java
Automation Frameworks: Playwright, Selenium, WebdriverIO
API Testing: REST services
Database Skills: SQL, relational databases
✔ Ownership: At least 1 year of experience in owning mid-sized modules.
✔ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM fields.
