Position Summary Huron :

Contribute to test plan documents and write test procedures
Ensure the test coverage is appropriate and meets the requirement of the project
Experience with multiple platforms and browsers at the Enterprise level on Windows platforms.
Preferred knowledge on regression testing, functionality testing and compatibility testing.

Primary Responsibilities

Works with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Engineers and other team members to ensure all testing needs for projects are met in a timely manner and that all hardware, application configurations, and software products meet the quality expectations of the business. Works with team members spread across multiple time zones and geographic locations.
Helps to develop procedures to increase the effectiveness of the QA team
Evaluates work, helps contribute to metrics, analyses, and other relevant reports regarding the quality of testing.
Keeps all relevant testing documentation up to date and available to appropriate parties

Qualifications Huron:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Work history: 4-6 years working in a QA/Testing role, with at least 4 years’ experience testing software across multiple browsers/platforms.
Experience:
Experience working with Automation Tools such as Coded UI, Selenium, python framework development etc.
Experience in testing Salesforce/Web Applications/Content management sites/ Analytics platform and Power BI/ Tableau Report testing
Knowledge on Test Management Tools such as Azure Test Plans, Microsoft Test Manager, JIRA, Quality Center etc.

Expertise in Performance Testing tools using  Jmeter / Performance center.
Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessary follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
Reporting issues/bugs/failed tests into systems consumed by team members across global locations.
Automation and Manual testing methods and procedures.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum Methodology
