Your Role and Responsibilities
- Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component, system, performance, regression and service
- Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, and ensure version management
- Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
- Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people in developemnt
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3 to 5 years of professional/industrial experience in Software Quality Assurance and Software Testing
- Manual and Automation Test, Security domain knowledge
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source automation technologies and tools Experience with QA automation tools and automating UI.
- Must be proficient with Java, Python, Unix bash script, Perl, and other modern development languages and tools.
- Strong SQL and DB testing experience
- Ability to read, write complex SQL statements in Oracle, DB2.
- Proficiency in working on UNIX/Windows environments
- Experience with defect tracking systems, writing clear and reproducible defect reports.
- Proficient with Python, Selenium and other scripting languages and tools.
- Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using development and deployment tools (Jenkins, Jira
