Your Role and Responsibilities
- Performs functional, regression test, system testing and performance test.
- Assist in writing / updating test cases and scenarios
- Evaluate and test software bug fixes and features.
- Understand the acceptance criteria of bug/user story and write test cases covering impacted and boundary areas.
- Attends and participates in various Engineering meetings for the team
- Manages test data using various tools such as Jenkins & GIT
- Contributes to the development of new theories and methods for automation in QA
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Understanding of testing lifecycle in software development and different kind of testing.
- Knowledge of some scripting technology.
- Awareness of test automation framework like selenium
- Basic ability to create/understand MySQL queries
- Good to have knowledge around Docker and Kubernetes
- Awareness of Linux or Unix commands, file handling operations
- Awareness of any CICD tools.
- Strong customer focus to ensure meeting customer requirements
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
