Job Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst position requires a thorough understanding of software testing practices, policies, and procedures to advance organizational testing efforts. This position is responsible for following established procedures to ensure that the Cloud WMS application meets organization standards and end-user requirements. Additionally responsible for executing and documenting the testing of software/applications to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects for product releases with a large and diverse scope. This position participates in product release testing, bug resolution, as well as being part of a team to build automated functional/regression suite. The scope of work includes providing estimates, defining test approaches, creating appropriate test cases, and execution with high quality

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Manually create and input test data to execute test cases.
Use tools, programs, or extracted production data to execute test cases.
Develop and document testing best practices while ensuring they are communicated and applied.
Define and document test plans for new/existing systems with diverse scope and complexity.
Participate at requirements reviews, design reviews, system analysis, and testing review process.
Lead the requirements gathering or design effort as they relate to testing.
Review test plans, test cases, and test scripts of other team members.
Determine if manual and/or automated test tools should be used to execute test cases.
Assist in the creation of automated test scripts.
Create/maintain processes and documentation for tool maintenance.
Ensure that standards for production applications are followed.
Support improvements in overall quality results through statistical measurements and tools.
Integration testing with IoT solutions.
Integration testing between different software systems using RESTful web service APIs and other integration protocols.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or related discipline.
2+ years of experience in system testing of software applications.
Supply Chain execution and WMS domain experience.
Thorough understanding of test design and test techniques including white and black box testing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated skills and experience in working with virtual and geographically dispersed teams.

Preferred:

Oracle product experience, specifically with OCWMS (LogFire).
General understanding of relational database and basic SQL.
Experience with RESTful web services and APIs.
Experience in a quality assurance capacity on a scrum or other agile team.
Experience in developing Automation Framework for web based with Selenium, Python or any equivalent automation tools
Spanish fluency.
