Roles & Responsibilities:
- Should have good exposure to testing web-based applications/ products.
- Review User Stories with business analysts, designers and developers to ensure tests are appropriate to demonstrate that delivered solution meets agreed requirements.
- Participate & contribute effectively in sprint planning, daily stand up, sprint review and retrospective meetings.
- Involve in creation of Manual Test Scenarios covering positive and negative testing for User Stories.
- Perform the functional testing, Exploratory testing within the sprints.
- Active collaboration & participation within Scrum team.
- Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Define Test Automation Approach, Identify right tools and drive Automation coverage within the sprints.
- Ensure that tests are planned, carried out and reported thoroughly in a professional manner
Sr. Software Tester Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)
- 5 -7 years of proven experience in manual testing out of which at least 4+ years in Agile.
- Expert in web based application and API testing.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Exposure to security testing, responsive testing will be a plus.
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of at least one database management system. (SQL Server)
- Working knowledge of any ALM tool like Rally, Version one, JIRA Agile is must.
- Working knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) system.
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
Good to have:
- Work experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Automation exposure would be an added advantage.
- Experience in tools like swagger, postman, mongo db, browser stack will be an added advantage.
- Agile and Software Testing Certifications are preferred
