About our group:

Product Assurance Group is established to perform Systems and Solution testing of Seagate products. It involves doing End-2-End testing which includes all the components of the solution.
The group comprises of global, professional, and motivated team members who are driving the Quality objectives to produce world-class products.

About the role – you will:

As a member of the Quality Solution Test team reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager, you will:
•    Understand the design details of the storage system in test perspective
•    Work closely with Development team to understand the product architecture and implementation
•    Develop, Automate and execute test cases as per the test plan
•    Generate test reports
•    Collaborate with development teams to ensure full integration of all parts of the system
•    Assist with maintaining engineering laboratory and equipment
•    Complete internship project as per plan

About you:

•    Understanding of object storage
•    Writing test standards and procedures
•    Understanding of industry software test processes and practices
•    Programming in Python/C/C++
•    Knowledge and experience with Linux, Microsoft Windows, and VMware Cloud services
•    Networking Basics
•    Excellent troubleshooting skills
