Siemens is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our Digitalization Technology and Services (DTS) team in Bangalore. Being a part of an internationally distributed software development team
Defining test cases for cloud-based digital services and desktop applications
Automating defined test cases and enhancing test coverage
Performing both manual and automated testing
Maintaining test and user documentation
Collaborating closely with frontend & backend developers, as well as UX/UI designers
Job Requirements / Skills:
Interdisciplinary, analytical, and structured thinking
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Confidence to communicate in international and multicultural environments
Strong skills in test automation using tools like WebDriverIO, Selenium, or similar
Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and related web technologies
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
