Standard Chartered Key Accountabilities

Design and execute high-quality automated test cases based on accurate business requirements analysis and component flows.
Design and maintain automation testing framework.
Champion and implement best testing practices and processes while testing server side and client-side components.
Setting up Test Environment, Troubleshoot QA environments, diagnosing and resolving issues prior to formal testing.
Perform root cause analysis of issues to assist in determining the source of problems.
Utilise Jira to effectively categorise and track issues raised during the testing cycle.
Undertake strategic test planning and develop a strategic testing approach for each service in support of the FM eCommerce strategy.
Identify and analyse strategic testing opportunities and initiatives on a global basis.
Participate in regular testing review meetings and conduct proactive data analysis on all metrics, including daily / weekly / monthly reports.
Identify, flag and mitigate risks that would impact the overall projects failure and success.
Effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and vendors on a regular basis.

Our Ideal Candidate

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science / IT or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Strong test automation skills and experience in setting up and usage of various types of test automation frameworks involving data driven, keyword driven, BDD and Hybrid automation frameworks.
Experience with Build, Deploy, Code repository, Version control, shared space tools like Jenkins, GIT, Bit bucket, IntelliJ, Maven, Jira, Confluence, etc.
Possess excellent communication skills to facilitate accurate and efficient communication across globally distributed development and test teams.
Ability to write Java code to support test tooling and new test automation keywords or glue code supporting features in feature file.
Be SMEs on the testing of Fixed Income eTrading systems with good knowledge of Bonds, IRS and CDS.
Experience on Cucumber tool / BDD framework with Gherkin language.
Be customer oriented and focused individual with positive attitude.
Experience of working in Agile SCRUM or Kanban frameworks.
Quick Learner, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in DevOps tools and implementation.
Experience in implementing CI / CD pipeline.
Experience on ROBOT Framework.
SQL / RDBMS Database skills.
UNIX Operating System skills.

Nice To Have

Proven experience of testing solutions based on ION MarketView vendor products. Knowledge of ION MMI, ION Sysadmin, Routers, ION market gateways and ION trading tools like VMO, MMS.
Familiarity with D2C markets like Bloomberg, MarketAxess, TradeWeb, etc.
Experience of ION’s ITAS (Test automation suite), IMGT (mock gateways) frameworks and DPLAYER.
Knowledge of the testing processes involved with Straight Through Processing (STP) and experience of automating these flows.
Scripting language experience.
