Job Description

Join SymphonyAI Financial Services as a Software Testing (Automation) Engineer and become part of our Financial Crime Prevention Product Engineering team. We develop cutting-edge software solutions for regulatory compliance, fraud detection, financial crime investigation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop high-quality automation scripts for web and API (REST/SOAP) testing using tools like Selenium, RestAssured
✅ Collaborate with developers to build and execute test cases for new product features
✅ Participate in daily scrum meetings, communicate progress, and propose solutions for blockers
✅ Work with QA leads to collect quality metrics and improve test automation effectiveness
✅ Identify the root cause of functional issues and implement corrective actions
✅ Guide and coordinate work among QA Test Automation Engineers within an Agile framework
✅ Provide regular test status updates to the QA Manager and key stakeholders
✅ Proactively suggest and implement QA process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
✅ Contribute to the NetReveal Product QA strategy, with a focus on GenAI-powered automation for faster and more accurate testing

Required Skills & Qualifications

🔹 Experience in designing and developing automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Selenide, and RestAssured
🔹 Familiarity with test frameworks such as Cucumber, BDD
🔹 Hands-on experience in automation tool development and implementation
🔹 Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing
🔹 Experience using defect and test management tools (e.g., JIRA)
🔹 Exposure to Agile methodologies and ability to work in cross-functional teams
🔹 Experience in leading test automation teams and refining test automation processes

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

✔ Java programming experience
✔ Hands-on experience with Git version control
✔ Knowledge of REST/SOAP Web Services
✔ Familiarity with Application Servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, or JBOSS)
✔ Experience with IDEs like IntelliJ or VSCode
✔ Exposure to Microservices & Cloud Serverless technologies
✔ Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
✔ Experience using Generative AI tools for test case creation & automation
