You will be responsible for
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and contribute to solution design.
- Validate data sources, transformation logic, and data persistence in target systems.
- Develop and execute robust, data-centric test plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for data platforms, supporting a wide range of onboarded applications.
- Author detailed functional, integration, and regression test cases.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to review test plans, identify gaps, and ensure coverage of complex scenarios.
- Generate accurate and representative test data to simulate real-world platform operations.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage and automation.
- Analyze server logs, databases, and other system components to provide detailed bug reports.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for test data extraction and validation.
- Design and enhance test automation frameworks to support evolving platform requirements.
- Track and report comprehensive quality metrics, including defect density, open and closed defect counts, test coverage, test execution pass/fail rates, mean time to detect (MTTD), mean time to resolve (MTTR), requirements coverage, and automation effectiveness.
- Develop mocks and stubs to facilitate isolated component testing.
