Job description

design and build test automation scripts with focus on performance testing of our applications
understand the bigger picture (end-to-end impact assessment) to identify and predict issues early
work on test automation framework maintenance
develop custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity
collaborate within the team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation
liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the bank including international locations
comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans

Your expertise

strong background in Test Automation
proven delivery of performing testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability
able to perform regression testing for applications and Production Readiness Verification (PRV)
experience of working in Agile teams / Scrum environment
strong background in use case interpretation (translating from BA to Test cases)
strong knowledge of the UAT process
ability and experience of applying ISTQB standards in the process of design, execution and managing of the test process

Essential Skills/Experience:

ISTQB Foundation Certification or above
sound knowledge of Defect Analysis and Prioritisation
sound knowledge of Regression Testing
proven Test Management know-how
Programming languages (C# conceptual knowledge at a minimum)
Requirement Traceability Matrix (mapping stories to test cases)
experience with SOAP UI & Postman/Swagger
familiar with using BDD approach and Gherkin
familiar with code version control systems (git)
basic SQL knowledge (at a minimum)
proven ability to work with both BAs and Developers
good communication and inter-personal skills
excellent English (written and verbal) communication skills and an ability to work as part of a Global team
