Roles & Responsibilities
- Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
- Executing tests on software usability. Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability. Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team. Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Required skills & Expertise: BE/BS/MCA in Computer Science or related field of study and 6 – 9 years of professional software testing experience.
- Experience with Web Services. Experience with testing REST API.
- Experience with web-based application testing using multiple browsers. Experience with test automation, preferably with frameworks such as TestNG and Selenium. Ability to identify, isolate and concisely document defects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate efficiently with both local and remote co-workers.
- Expertise in estimating testing and automation costs accurately and delivering on schedule. Experience with agile engineering methodologies such as Scrum desired. Leading the testing efforts and act like a guardrail, to avoid defect leakage to production.
- Others Must be a self-starter, possess excellent time management skills, and be able manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast paced environment. Ability to generate requirements, estimates and plan for projects.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must LOVE problem solving.
