Description
ValGenesis is currently seeking a Junior Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced QA team to ensure the high quality of our software products. As a Junior Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals and gain valuable experience in the field of software testing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve software defects.
- Perform manual functional testing of new features and bug fixes.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of the software.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide updates on testing progress.
- Work closely with developers to understand the software requirements and design specifications.
- Collaborate with the QA team to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Document and report on software defects, including steps to reproduce and expected behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with test case management tools such as JIRA.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
