Role and Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a QA Intern. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with our QA team to ensure that our software products are of the highest quality.
- Assist in developing test plans and test cases for software products
- Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure that software products meet quality standards
- Document and track issues found during testing and work with the development team to resolve them
- Perform regression testing to ensure that issues have been resolved
- Work with the QA team to continuously improve testing processes and procedures
- Learn and utilize testing tools and software to assist in testing efforts
- Participate in team meetings and provide status updates on testing progress
- Provide input on product usability and user experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies
- Ability to learn and utilize testing tools and software
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with automation testing tools
- Experience with programming languages such as Java or Python
