We’re looking for a Software QA Engineer to be an integral part of our development team to ensure product quality. We believe a Software QA Engineer should be able to cover all the QA related responsibilities including test automation and manual testing. Moreover, we educate engineers in our teams to be effective in doing these two parts combined whenever possible. If you have relevant experience and are ready to combine both roles, this is the right position for you! We’ll help you grow as a QA automation specialist.

Job Scope and Accountabilities

Participating in Scrum teams, understanding product and technical requirements, and being involved with all stages of development
Manual and automated testing of Wrike functionality
Writing test documentation
Deployment functionality developed by the team
Tracking bugs, prioritizing issues, and monitoring bug fixes

How we work

We work in a fast paced Agile environment in 30+ scrum teams working on the development and maintenance of our project management platform. We use thousands of automated tests written in modern frameworks that are run on a dynamic infrastructure.

Experience Requirements

3+ years of QA experience, including testing of web-based applications
Thorough knowledge of QA practices and tools
A good understanding of development and defecting lifecycles
Hands on programming skills for tests in Java (or other OOP language with an interest to learn and use Java) is a must
Test automation experience is a must
An understanding of client-server applications architecture
Upper-intermediate English skills

Desired Skills

Experience with CI/CD processes
Knowledge of GIT
Interpersonal skills – Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required with the ability to work within all levels of an organization. Fostering a fun and productive team environment
