Responsibilities

Execute manual testing to verify software functionality and performance.
Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on product specifications.
Perform functional testing to ensure software features work as expected.
Conduct regression testing to verify that new changes do not break existing features.
Carry out usability testing to assess user experience and ease of navigation.
Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across different web browsers.
Log and track bugs using QA tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
Assist in smoke testing and sanity testing to ensure basic functionality after builds.
Work with developers to identify, document, and resolve defects through exploratory testing.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify software meets client requirements.

Requirements

Strong understanding of manual testing techniques.
Experience in functional, regression, usability, exploratory, cross-browser, smoke, and sanity testing.
Ability to create clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
Basic knowledge of QA tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana, Bugzilla).Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
