As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, within the Testing Center of Excellence Team, you will play a pivotal role in a global team. This role involves conducting systematic application functionality tests, documenting results, and ensuring clear communication with all relevant stakeholders. Your expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and BDD/TDD will be essential in ensuring high software quality and quick issue resolution. You will also contribute to monthly and quarterly testing reports and automate regression and functional test cases.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform regression and functional user acceptance testing for WFT applications
• Assist in parallel running of current and new scenarios to validate results
• Document UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
• Define and prepare necessary test data for various testing phases
• Identify and analyze defects, collaborating with Operations teams for timely resolution
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reports on testing results
• Automate regression and functional test cases to improve efficiency
• Collaborate closely with technology teams for BDD implementation
• Automate test design using appropriate testing tools
• Conduct automation feasibility studies and derive return on investment (ROI)
• Apply hands-on experience in test automation using Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, API testing, and database concepts

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience
• Strong expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, and Java
• Experience with BDD/TDD (Behavior Driven Development / Test Driven Development)
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Bitbucket and Git
• Ability to develop automation frameworks using Core Java
• Experience maintaining Keyword, Data-driven, and Hybrid automation frameworks
• Ability to manage test data using SQL
• Experience preparing and delivering comprehensive test reports
• Strong understanding of Agile testing practices
• Experience using test design tools such as Conformiq
• Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter
