Your Responsibilities

Framework and Scripts (60%)

Design, develop, and maintain the performance testing framework, tools, and scripts.
Document and track performance issues while analyzing root causes to provide corrective actions.
Document all relevant design documentation for performance testing purposes.
Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
Evaluate and make recommendations for future improvements to the existing performance testing framework and tools.

Standard and Metrics (40%)

Review and validate technical requirements to translate them into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Collaborate with product teams to identify key load and performance testing scenarios.
Work closely with development teams to identify performance issues throughout the software development cycle.
Analyze test results, prepare reports for stakeholders, and explain non-functional issues to the broader business team.
Compile technical reports including performance test plans and summary reports.

Your Background

Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience testing web applications as part of a QE team.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience in performance testing web-based application solutions.
- Proficiency with tools like Gatling, LoadRunner, or BlazeMeter.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Database profiling.
- Strong debugging skills and experience in Scala or other mainstream languages (C#, Java, JavaScript).
- Experience with CI/CD repository/build tools and exposure to AWS cloud services.
