Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and 3+ years of experience
- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Experience developing test automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience with functional, performance and stress testing for web applications and back-end services at scale.
- Experience developing high-quality test strategies and test automation.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and an ability to come up with creative solutions to impossible-to-solve problems.
- Experience with handling large scale data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform).
- Strong exposure with Selenium and Appium framework.
- Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, relational & no-SQL databases.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
- Coding experience with automation framework, tools, and services for mobile. Experience in API testing.
- Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes.
- Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
- Knowledge of JS, bash or other scripting languages a plus.
- Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication.
