The Opportunity

We are currently looking for Test Automation Developer/SDET to join our Altus Valuation team in Hyderabad. We are looking for someone who can be an integral part of product development process and is passionate about test automation. You will help us to extend our in-house automation framework, build foundation for new automated test strategies, adopting it into our Agile / Scrum environment as the cornerstone of our continuous delivery product cycle. Ideal candidate should have experience working with cloud products, should be comfortable with at least one scripting language and should demonstrate proactiveness to fill in the gaps when required.

Given the current situation, you would start off working remotely and then transition into a hybrid position.

• Azure DevOps
• JMeter

• Python (Primary)
• C#, .Net (Primary)
• BDD-Gherkin
• Jenkins Pipelines

Our new Software Engineer will:   

• Able to design  and develop new automation frameworks
• Able to enhance existing automation framework and modify existing scripts
• Implement and maintain automation test suites
• Plan for regression and smoke test suites
• Suggest best approaches for test automation of different types of requirements.
• Work alongside the development team and product management team to resolve all issues as efficiently as possible.
• Raise bugs and errors and communicate with developers to determine resolution.
• Work with product team for clarification on requirements and functionality.
• Able to think bold and implement to new ideas

Our new Software Engineer will have: 

• 3+ years of QA/Test automation experience
• Good at problem-solving techniques
• Strong API automation experience in any of the languages specified above
• Experience testing Cloud Based applications and services- AWS, Azure
• Knowledge on automation testing of WinForms applications
• Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL
• Knowledge on GITHUB
• Knowledge on CI/CD with any build system/Jenkins pipelines
• Experience of working on agile methodologies
