Main Activities

Contribute to the overall approach to functional testing
Developing the scripts, planning, coordinating and executing the tests with the project teams.
Creates test scripts that are well structured, data driven and well documented: developed on-time and address all key points of functionality and performance: and enable effective and efficient regression testing
Coordinates the execution of test cases to verify and validate the correct functionality, usability, performance, and reliability of systems and applications. Reports testing status. Responsible for documenting defects and tracking them to resolution.
3 to 6 years software QA experience with web based applications built with Java and Oracle/SQL Server
Experience in automation testing using Protractor or Playwright framework or equivalent
Experience in Selenium will be nice to have
Experience in testing API’s
Ability to create and execute robust test cases that effectively test a system’s GUI and integrated functionality, adherence to business rules and requirements, stability, and performance.
Exposure to different test methodologies
Exposure to Javascript and typescript
Exposure to Cucumber framework
Experience with all types of testing techniques and methodologies, must be good in Functional Testing
Experience in Functional, System Integration Performance & Volume and UAT testing phases
Proven track record in mastering functionalities in new domains
Proven track record in ability to work independently with minimal supervision from lead/ manager
Nice to have Basic Java and SQL knowledge
Nice to have scripting knowledge – Python, Ruby

You will:

● Implement test strategy
_ Define test cases from customer’s requirements and ensure traceability with specifications.
_ Write test plan (functional and/or non-functional and/or non-regression).
_ Ensure improvement of non-regression test repository in the Change Request plan.

● Design and perform tests
_ Design test cases and develop automated test case scripts.
_ Prepare test environment, test data, and execute test cases.
_ Give go/no-go for the customer’s test campaign.
_ Be responsible for the project, product or release quality control.

● Fix Problem Tracking Records
_ Provide information to developers in order to fix defects
_ Check PTR fix and give go/no-go for the load of Production PTRs
_ Document software defects.

● Share your knowledge
_ Participate in specification reviews to give input on testing requirements.
_ Report and communicate on test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions analysts.
