Job Description:

Beebom is a new media company providing consumer Tech How-To tips, cool gadgets reviews and making YouTube cool videos and on an average we reaches more than 100 million impressions across the platforms.

Currently, We are building in-house revolutionary product and hiring for experienced QA Engineer. As a QA Engineer you’ll be responsible for creating end-to-end test plans, executing the plan and managing all the activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met.

You will also be responsible for Web/Mobile application performance monitoring. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, security, reliability and stability. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

2+ years of relevant industry experience in software testing for web and mobile applications
Proven experience in test automation and manual testing
Experience with multiple layers of testing environments (UAT, Database, Functional, Regression, Production)
Expertise in bug tracking tools like JIRA
Experience with API testing tools such as RapidAPI, Postman, or RestAssured
Knowledge of an agile/scrum environment and understanding of agile methodologies
Experience with automation frameworks; working experience with selenium, Robot, Cypress, and Puppeteer
Experience working with load testing tools such as JMeter, Postman
Good to have experience with Docker
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain the test suite and maintain high test coverage
Experience in code version control tools like GIT and in building CI/CD pipelines for automation testing
Self-motivated individual who takes complete ownership of the product are suitable for working in a startup-like culture

Responsibilities

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Perform thorough functional, user, regression, database, and load testing using both manual and automated suites as applicable
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback
Record all observations and issues in Jira
Understand the solution sequence/architectural diagram and elaborate it to design REST API test scenarios, test cases, and execute the same
Perform cross-browser testing for websites
