Job Description:
EATON is looking for a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing (Manual & Automation) for Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mobile automation using Appium/Selenium with Python/Java, and a strong understanding of software quality assurance practices. This role offers a dynamic hybrid work environment and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge IoT, Cloud, and DevOps technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Manual and Automated Mobile Application Testing on Android and iOS platforms.
Execute functional and non-functional testing for IoT devices, software, hardware, firmware, and Azure Cloud.
Create and execute Smoke, Sanity, and Regression Tests for IoT products.
Utilize JIRA for test and defect management.
Develop automated test scripts using Appium with Python/Java.
Collaborate with test engineers for coordinated test planning and execution.
Work with the DevOps team to integrate Continuous Integration/Testing (CI/CT) for functional and API tests.
Participate in organization-wide initiatives such as IoT labs and experience centers.
Maintain and enhance existing IoT infrastructure.
Stay updated with evolving software testing practices and methodologies.
Required Skills:
Expertise in Mobile Application Testing (Manual & Automation).
Experience testing IoT devices, MS Azure Cloud, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of Appium, PyTest, and scripting in Python/Java.
Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong problem-solving, initiative, and reasoning abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally across global teams and cultures.
An innovative mindset with the drive to adapt and adopt emerging technologies.
