The opportunity
- Work with Developers, Scrum Master and Test Lead to understand project design specifications
- Develops test cases in accordance with user stories that are put together as part of project Design & development
- Performs testing activities like Unit testing, Integration testing and identify opportunities for Automation
- Provides inputs in formulating Test Summary Report and shares it with Development\QA manager and Project Manager by following relevant standards
Your key responsibilities
- Function as a fully contributing team member with independent planning & execution responsibilities.
- Good understanding of Testing tools, principles & methodologies.
- Should be open to venture himself/herself into learning new products as per the business needs.
- Assess product specific testing requirements, work with cross teams to increase test coverage both for functional and performance needs.
- Understanding of one programming language like Python, Java, Automation Frameworks, Other scripting languages.
- Responsible for following test strategy and execution for new features, feature testing, automation, performance/reliability test automation, regression, and integration testing.
- Identifying bugs, reporting them to Ensure zero regression issues and reduce re-work because of code defects.
- Building upon domain knowledge and technical/proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise.
- Having a logical approach to problem solving and could respond to detailed queries.
- Strong attitude towards teamwork, knowledge sharing and documentation

- Should possess good product instinct and excellent project management skills to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Automation Testing experience with applications built on .NET, SQL, ADF, SAP (HANA) etc.
- Experience of working on Cloud software development preferably Azure\SAP Cloud Platform would be an advantage
- Ability and eagerness to learn and explore new topics independently
- Knowledge of ETL tools will be an advantage
- Ability to work with the team in understanding design and development aspects of the product.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong desire to work in high performing team.
- Experience in testing on Windows & Unix platform, including Clustering, LVM’s, Multipathing software etc.
- Familiarity with CI\CD, Azure DevOps for continuous integration, delivery and automation.
- knowledge of delivery using modern methodologies especially SAFe Agile, Iterative, Waterfall methodologies etc.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- 3 to 5 years of experience in testing & QA activities
- Hands on experience in Automation testing
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
- Hands on experience of writing scripts to automate testing
- Hands on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Cucumber etc
- Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology, majoring in Computer Science, Electronics or Information Technology/Science or Master’s degree in Computer Applications from a reputed Institute.
