Job Description
Facctum is building cutting-edge tools in the Cloud for Financial Institutions to fight Financial Crimes. We are looking for a competent and enthusiastic ETL Test Analyst to perform software tests and ensure quality of software applications. This vital role will ensure we are able to provide a high-quality end product to internal and external users. This position requires strong technical and communication skills as well as both independent and team working capabilities, including working closely with all other areas of the of the Technology department. Core responsibilities: to create test strategy, test scenarios, test cases, setup test data and perform testing for ETL components developed using Ab Initio
Areas of Responsibility:
- Creating and executing test plans and test cases for software applications and systems.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects and issues in software applications and systems.
- Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure defects and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Participating in product design and development to provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Utilizing various testing tools and techniques to ensure software meets quality and performance standards.
- Analyzing test results and providing reports to stakeholders on software quality and performance.
- Developing and maintaining automated test suites to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to software testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, as well as experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with Ab Initio or similar ETL tool testing experience
- Exposure to Banking domain, preferably in Financial Crime area
- Experience in using tools like Click up, JIRA, Quality Center to track defects
- Proactive nature
- Excellent communication skills,
- Articulate and detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure with project/stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build productive working relationships with other IT groups, business users and support teams
- Excellent problem solver
