Software Test Engineer

- o To lead software validation Control Units for EVs and ICEs.
- o Manage the testing requirements for multiple Control units across several HMCL vehicle platforms.
- o Remove roadblocks and barriers to success for your teams to ensure high quality software and captivating customer experiences.
- o Drive continuous improvements in testing approach including automation, increased speed, depth, and breadth of testing coverage.
- o Identify new tools and technologies to develop a world class validation team.
A Day in the life
- Verification and Validation Debugging, problem solving and Implementation of Corrective measures.
- Preparing and recording Testing Data
Academic Qualification & Experience
- BTech/MTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automotive or equivalent.
- Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Embedded software Development Life Cycle Experiential Knowledge of Scripting, HIL, etc.
- Knowledge about CAN Simulation/dbc files from CAN Matrix, Knowledge in using Vector CAN tools (like CANalyzer, CANoe), ETAS-INCA,etc.
- Understanding of Automotive Standards & Functional Safety. E.g. ISO 26262, MISRA Quality of software Experience of End to End encryption, Sound knowledge of IoT client APIs like HTTP, RESTful APIs etc.
- Experience of working in ASPICE process capability maturity model, good experience in V-model development process.
- Knowledge of communication protocol like CAN, Modbus as well as SPI , LIN , K-LINE Ability to work through RCA Knowledge about Agile and V model.
- Use to work under multi project and with time constrain
