Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers to understand project requirements and timelines.
2. Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios based on project specifications and user stories.
3. Execute test cases manually to verify software functionality, usability, and performance across different platforms and environments.
4. Identify, document, and track software defects.
5. Work closely with developers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues on time.
6. Perform regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs correctly after changes have been made.
7. Participate in team meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospective meetings to provide input on testing efforts and process improvements.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes and techniques.
9. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
10. Actively participate in the software release process, including final acceptance testing and sign-off on release candidates.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Proven experience as a Manual Software Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst in a software development environment.
3. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
4. Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
   Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
