Job Description:

PowerSchool is the global leader in cloud-based K–12 education software, supporting educators, students, and families through innovative technology. We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Quality Assurance Engineer 2 to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing of Salesforce CRM enhancements, identifying and tracking bugs, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with QA Lead and Solution Architects to understand business requirements

• Create test cases and test plans for various enhancements

• Perform functional, regression, performance, security, and integration testing

• Execute manual testing and develop automated test cases

• Perform data quality and validation testing

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Document and track defects using Jira and other tools

• Generate test reports using Zephyr, Domo, and Jira

• Support sprint reviews and establish QA metrics

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

• Provide feedback on software usability and performance

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant QA experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Strong experience in test planning, execution, and reporting

• Knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience working in cross-functional teams

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant)

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks

• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking systems
