Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to lead and manage our quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation and experience leading teams of QA engineers.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of software testing strategies and plans
Mentor and train junior QA engineers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues
Develop and maintain automated test suites and scripts
Analyze and report on software performance and reliability
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase test coverage and efficiency
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new testing techniques
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
Experience leading teams of QA engineers
Strong knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium, RestAssured
Knowledge of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
Experience in working with REST APIs
Experience with any test management tools like Jira or equivalent tool
Strong knowledge of Java, Python or any other scripting language
Hands on experience in test automation frameworks
Experience of Agile practices
Strong leadership and mentorship skills
Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
