About the Role
As a Quality Test Engineer II, you will play a vital role in enhancing QA methodologies, ensuring compliance, and improving process standards. You will work closely with management to ensure the on-time and efficient delivery of software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the basics of DB queries.
- Work with Core Java for test automation.
- Utilize automation tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, or similar.
- Conduct smoke and functional testing.
- Gain knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Use JIRA and follow SDLC processes.
- Apply QA methodologies and contribute to process improvement.
- Ensure quality in the software development process with attention to detail.
Requirements
- Participate in process improvement and compliance efforts to deliver high-quality software.
- Assist in enhancing methodologies for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
- Maintain a framework for record retention to support IT audits.
- Work across teams to improve quality functional testing and efficiency.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
