Main responsibilities

• Analyse requirement specifications and create comprehensive test cases.
• Execute manual and/or automated tests to validate application functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing and ensure readiness for release.
• Monitor and respond to incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform root cause analysis and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with vendor support and internal teams to ensure resolution.
• Maintain support documentation and contribute to knowledge base updates.
• Ensure application uptime and performance through proactive monitoring and checks.

Experience and Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in application support roles
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, product managers, and support teams.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with support ticketing systems and SLA-based operations.
• Experience in working on Selenium, Web Driver, JIRA, API and Mobile app testing
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for incident diagnosis and resolution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
