Software Tester Job Descriptions:

Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications, web applications, and cross-browser web solutions to identify defects, inconsistencies, and issues.
Perform end-to-end testing to verify that software functionality aligns with project requirements and follows the specified requirement flow.
Test across multiple mobile platforms (iOS and Android) to ensure consistent performance and user experience.
Test cross-browser compatibility to ensure that web applications render correctly across various browsers and devices.
Verify that software features and UI/UX elements match the design specifications and visual assets provided by the design team.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans to thoroughly assess software functionality and user interactions.
Document and track defects using issue tracking systems, and communicate effectively with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Provide clear and detailed reports on testing results, including pass/fail rates, defects found, and overall software quality.

Software Tester Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Software Tester, QA Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on testing mobile apps and web applications.
Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, as well as experience with test automation.
Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android), browsers, and cross-platform compatibility.
Attention to detail and a critical eye for identifying UI/UX discrepancies and issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
Experience in writing clear and concise test documentation.
At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
